American children are not meeting the recommendations for childhood vaccines. Researchers from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention said more than 25% of children are not meeting the schedule created by the U.S. government.
The CDC said that 81% of children are meeting government recommendations, but children between 8 months and 3 years of age are not getting them on time or are receiving the dose too soon after the initial dose to be affective. (more…)
